"Because our current insurance provider had been consistently raising our monthly rates, we were shopping around for a new auto, home and umbrella provider. We contacted a total of 4 different companies (USAA, Farmers, Geico, State Farm) and spent quite a bit of time comparing quotes and asking questions to ensure we purchased the coverage we needed. Two of the companies had us on hold for close to an hour before we were able to talk to someone either in another country with a thick accent or someone who didn’t seem to know more than we did about insurance. When we talked to Alex, he took the time to break down exactly what would be a good choice for our particular situation. We really appreciated the customized service we received and his positive attitude. No matter how many questions we asked and re-asked, he explained the coverages and prices until we understood what we needed and what they could provide. Even though State Farm wasn’t the least expensive of the 4 companies (they were 2nd to least expensive but provided more coverage), we chose to go with them because our coverage was more and the customer service we received was top notch.
